When a worker considers his wages are too low he is always at liberty to leave US job and to look for another. Now, eir, let uie rule apply to our X.Z.K. and P.O. employeesIn less than a month away from their job nine out of ten of these men would be hastening again to join the Government service as fait as their legs would carry them. The lowest wages paid to any railway servant- aie higher than most men get outside the Government A Government employee is in constant employment, and several concessions are given to such men. When Government servants observe the rule one man one job and Ic. J to have some consideration for workers outeide the Public Service, then will the public willingly assist any Government servant to get J« 9 « c ?* if he is not going to get it. MAIHJi. Ohakune.
