The monthly meeting of the Tauranga branch of tho Now Zealand Fn rmors' Union was held hist week, Mr. I<\ \V. Kcarn presidium. It: was resolved (o ask tho Now Zoalaricl Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd., to hold fortnightly cattle sales in tho .Ttulea yards, and that tho hour of: starting tho sales be noon, instead of monthly sales commencing at 1 p.m. Tho secretary was instructed to make inquiries in regard 1o forming a veterinary club in the Tauranga district. It: was resolved to write Mr. C. E. Maemillan, M.l'., asking him to make representations of the Department of Agriculture to issue an illustrated bulletin detailing the symptoms of malpresentation and other diseases of dairy cows and tho best methods of treating the same.
