WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. NOTICE OF PROPOSED LOAN. In the matter of the Electric Power ?° ar<l , s , -)ct, 1025, the Local Bodies* Loans Act, l!) 2(), and amendments and regulations made thereunder, respectively,'' the Waitemata Electric Power Board, a body corporate duly constituted under the provisions of the Electric Power Boards Act 102 i), hereby Rives notice in terms of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 192(5, that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of £100,000 (one hundred thousand pounds), for the following purposes:— (a) For the purpose of Purchasing, Constructing and Providing Electric Works as defined in the Electric Power Boards Act, 1(125, in order to Supply and to Extend the Supply of Electricity within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District and for Providing Funds for the purposes mentioned under Section US of the said Act. (Section US authorises the Board to instal motors, electric wires, electric lamps and other fittings and equipment in public or private buildings, works, dwellings and other places, and to accept payment therefor by instalments.) (b) For the purpose of securing the Repayment of the said Special Loan, a special annually-recurring rate of o-d-nds (five thirty-seconds) of a penny m thft 4 £ u will be made and levied upon the ratable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all the ratable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District. (c) It is proposed to make such Loan repayable in twenty-six (26) years, and to make provision for the repayment thereof by a Sinking Fund of £2 (two pounds) per centum per annum.
