DUE TO WAR INJURIES.
EX-SOLDIER'S SUICIDE,

GJSBOENE, Sunday.
An inquest was held at Waipiro Bay yesterday concerning the death of Reginald John Burnett, aged 3f>, a married man with four children, who was found hanged in his. home, Evidence was given by Mrs. Burnett that her husband always suffered severely from nerves, due to war experiences. He had been gassed and wounded. He had previously threats encd to take his own life. When the Waipiro Bay Hall, which adjoined their home, was burned to the ground_ last Sunday, the explosion of a gas cylinder had seriously upset hjra. After other evidence had been heard the jury returned a verdiGt of death from' strangulation, self-inflicted while temporarily insane. A rider was added that deceased was induced to take his life through injuries received in war service,
