A special meeting of the shareholders of■ the Building Society was held last night, ia response to a requisition asking that the directors be instructed not io proceed with efforts to obtain possession of a house and a motor car given to -Miss Dorothy Rust by her father, A. M.. Rust, late auditor of the society. A motion to this effect was defeated by 88 votes t0',.:03.
