BUSINESS HOUSES GAMES.
THIS WEEK'S FIXTURES,
The business houses competition under the auspices of the A.F.A. will be carried a step further towards completion tomorrow, when the Auckland Milk Co., who are well'in the running for .the trophy, will be opposed by Training College. The students-last week defeated the Farmers' Trading Co., practically putting them out of the hunt for the cup, and the milkmen will find that tomorrow they will have their supreme test. The College play a vigorous, dashing, if linorthodox game which has upset most of the -teams in the competition. The fixtures are as follows:— . A\ % Training College v. Milk Co., Outer Domain No. 1, 4.15 p.m.; "Mr. G- A. Pearson. Takapuna Dairy Co. v. Abels, Ltd., Outer Domain No*. 2, 4.15 p.m.; Mr. L. J. Check. Thursday.—Shell Oil Co. v. Kents, Ltd., Blandford Park, 4.15 p.m.; Mr. L. J. Check. The withdrawal of .the Hotels F.C. has raised the important question of the reduction of points in games played. The Power Board, who were beaten by the Hotels, will benefit by this result, while Milk ,Co., who took full points from the barmen, will be at a loss- The course to be adopted will form the subject of discussion at a special general meeting of the business houses' delegates next Monday. If points are deducted according to rule, Power Board and Milk Co., should the. latter win to-morrow, will be on an equal footing.
