U.S.A. NEW PRAYER BOOK,
(United Service.) (Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 10. The new Prayer Book of the Protestant Episcopal Church, revised for the fi'st time since 1892, has been announced for publication. Changes in the marriage service, which have been long discussed, include the omission of the woman's promise to obey her husband ai >d the man giving the ring no longer says "With all my worldly goods I thee endow." There are many changes in the service. For the visitation of the fick the phrases linking the patient s illness with God's wrath are absent.
