Followers of the trotting sport will be catered for to-morrow when the Auckland country circuit will be set in swing with the holding of the Waikato Trotting Club's spring meeting. As the two following Saturdays will be taken up, first, by the Northland Trotting Club, and next by the Auckland Trotting Club, the racing at the Waikato will create more than usual interest. The acceptances received are very satisfactory and not only are the majority of the best-known Auckland pacers and trotters engaged, but two, Lindbergh and Pearl Logan, will represent Canterbury.
