November 20, 23—Otuhuhu Trotting Club. Nov. 27, 30.—Forbury Park T.C. Dec. 14.—New Brighton T.C. Dec. 26, 2S.—South Walrarapa T.C. Oct. 26, 2S.—Auckland T.C. J. T. Paul is one of those trainers whose horses are always entitled to respect. To-morrow he has My Thorpe and Great Parrish engaged, and both are certain to carry good money. G. Williams arrived at Epsom on Wednesday with Bell Dial, and will race the bay marc at Hamilton in the unhopplcd handicap. Bell Dial looks in good condition, but patVvs are not often a success when asked to race without hopples. When Vendome last raced, it was at the winter meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club, J. J. Kennerley's pacer cost her supporters a heap of money by her failure to return a dividend. Being trained privately at Te A'.vamutii, nothing is known as to her present condition, but should she be ready, then the chances are she will be hard to dispose of in the Stewards' Handicap, in which she is handicapped on 2.17 ill a 2.19 class. It is certain that Great Parrish will be the favourite in the Visitors' Handicap, and the colt is bound to be prominent. His run at the Relief Fund meeting showed him up as a very speedy customer, and though he Avas just beaten out of a place at the end, he should, have made some improvement since then. There are some fairly smart sprinters in the race, and one of them, Arachne, will show a lot of speed, and if Great Parrish is to make any use of his 24yds handicap he will have to keep moving to remain in front of Arachne.
While Mountain Dell is being selected by many as the probable winner of the Mark Memorial, the brown mare, in the event of her being beaten in that race, would have to be considered in the Stewards' Handicap later in the afternoon. In all her training she has demonstrated that she can muster up a rare turn of speed, and handicapped on 2.17 in the mile she should have no difficulty in at least going her handicap. A win in the "Mark Memorial would | entail a penalty for the Stewards', and 1 this would make a difference to her I chance. | Mr. T. Richards, owner of Tiger Salve, and who a couple of xnontl)3 back paid a big price for a filly by Guy Parrisli —Belle Bingen, has added another to his lot. This is a rising Iwo-year-old colt by Guy Parrisli —Miss Spears, and bred as she is in th's purple she should be a good one. Shii is a trotter and was bred by Mr. Le Lievre, from whom Mr. Richards also bought | tlie Belle Bingen filly. The latter is doing nicely under C. G.. Lee's care, and is one of. the most promising young trotters ever seen at Epsom.
