N. H. FULLER'S SUCCESS.

The win of F. Rutter (Auckland) and N. H. Fuller (Hawera) in the professional foursomes championship is really a victory for two Aucklanders. Norman Fuller* who has just turned 21 years of age, is an Otahuhu boy, who grew up adjacent to Middlemore links, where he acquired an interest in the game as a caddy. Later he entered the employment of E. J. Moss, the Auckland club's professional, and laid the foundation of a career as a professional golfer. He showed considerable aptitude for the game, and after some experience at One Tree Hill with the Maungakiekie Club he obtained a position last season as professional to the Hawera Club. This is his first appearance at a New Zealand championship tournament. His parents still reside at Otahuhu.
