It has again been my pleasure to view the contents of the Domain winter gardens and surely the plants are at their best at present. Such a wealth of beautiful flowers cannot but bring joy to the beholder.. There is, though, one thing lacking, and that is labels,-which would provide inquiring minds with the names, of those plants that interest. With the names in one's possession it would then he an,easy matter to seek the knowledge one desires of the plants. . Without them it is a much more difficult matter. The above also applies to the contents of the parks and reserves. What a help name labels would be in revealing to the city dwellers the native trees, for instance, of which they have such small- knowledge. Overseas visitors Avould also benefit, i . H,W : .E.
