TWO ON END.

SIMBA SCORES AGAIN. The two-year-old Simba is evidently above the average,- and his connections ■will be sorry now that he was not left in the Welcome Stakes at Auckland. Simba won the Debutante Stakes at Waugainii from end to end, but unfortunately that success was registered the day after the first forfeit was due for the Welcome Stakes, and his owner had decided not to allow him to remain in. He would have been in if the payment had been after the Debutante Stakes was run. Simba won the Nursery Handicap well at Hastings on Saturday and more successes should go his way, for he comes from a good family, being by Psychology from Tressida, and is therefore a halfbrother to Pvunnyniedc and Baasay.
