SYDNEY WOOL SALES.

AN EASIER TENDENCY,

SYDNEY, September 30. The Sydney wool sales were resumed today when 9241 bales were sold. The market for good wools was barely equal to the opening series. All faulty sorts displayed a decidedly easier tendency and, showed a decline of from 5 to 7% per cent. G-reasy Merino sold to lSYid. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 30. At the wool sales 9448 bales were offered, of which 1233 were New Zealand. There was a very poor supply of Colonials. There was a firm market, with prices fully maintained, and few withdrawals. New Zealand greasy halfbreds: Bayfield, 18d to 17d; slipes, super halfbred, 22d; crossbred, WM. Bradford is weak, and there is a general lack of interest.
