FARMERS' UNION.

THE DARGAVILLE BRANCH. At a meeting of members of the Dargaville branch of the Farmers' Union on Saturday, the president, Mr. A. Morgan (Aratapu), presided over about twenty-five members. Mr. F. Heerdegen was elected secretary and treasurer. Mr. C. N. Taylor was elected vice-president. Mr. R. A. Lewis reported that at a meeting of' the recently formed Awakiuo Point branch members unanimously had decided to disband and join up with the newly constituted Darpaville branch. The secretary advised that there are 93 financial members of the union in Dargaville. A very interesting address was given to members by Mr. W. P. Begg (Arapohue) on niilk fever.
