BIRTHDAY PARTY.
A twenty-first' birthday party was given at the Moulin Eouge last evening, when Mr. and Mrs. Martyn Wilson, of Reniuera, entertained a large number of guests, in honour of their son, Mr. Jack Gould. Gold and crimson streamers, with bowls of spring flowers in every nook and corner were attractive decorations. George Hunter's Eevellers provided excellent music. Musical items' were rendered by Mrs. J. J. Sullivan, Mr. Hulme, and Miss T. Ward. MrsJ Wilson received her guests in a pearline pink georgette, inset with a glistening vandyked hem of gold lace, black satin wrap, appliqued in large rose du barri roses. Whitney, black lace; Mrs. C. Whitney, terracotta chiffon; Miss Macrombie, black georgette, heavily embroidered in steel beads; Mrs. McDonald, black and silver beaded georojtte; llrs. G.
