. 7 . ... !'• The/ members of tig Ex-Service Woman's Association met at the Tudor Tearooms yesterday afternoon and held a very large and successful afternoon tea in 'honour of Mrs. Basil Cadoux, who for the past three years has been their president, and is now retiring owing to ill-health. The tables were charmingly decorated with the club colours, blue and gold. Tall vases contained beautiful blooms of daffodils and in front of each guest small posies of blue flowers were placed. Mrs. Cadoux with a beautiful cigarette box of beaten brass and a silver and greenstone ash tray, initialled, from the members. She referred to the splendid work Mrs. Cadoux had done for the association in the past, and expressed the deep regret of the members at her resignation. Mrs. Leary also spoke of the guest of honour's willingness to assist anyone whenever she could, particularly the wives and children of returned soldiers, who' were in need. Mrs. Cadoux thanked the members for their gift and their kind wishes, saying that it had always been a great pleasure for her to be among th<yn. Among those who were present were: Mrs. L. P.
