DEAD AT FOOT OF CLIFF.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OAMARU, Wednesday. -The mutilated body of Charles Rivers, a labourer, aged 61 years, was found at eight o'clock this morning on the railway line at the fpot of a cliff near the breakwater. He was well-known in town and as a Rugby representative. He had been living a nomadic life. Apparently he missed his footing at tintop of the cliff, where he had been sleeping, death being instantaneous.
