The Port Victor, which arrived from Xew York this morning, was a day late, while the Waipahi, due from Rarotonga this afternoon, had not been reported by Tiri at 1 p.m. The Papanui, which should have arrived from Liverpool on Monday, radios that she will not reach here until midnight on Friday. Jackson has taken command of the o.v. Wakanui. PAPANUI REPORTS. According to her radio report, the Federal steamer Papanui will arrive at Auckland from Liverpool at midnight next Friday. She has ■ general cargo for discharge here and at Wellington, Lyttelton, Duuedin and New Plymouth. IRIS RETURNING. The cable steamer, Iris, which has been repairing the Pacific cable, left Norfolk Island early yesterday morning, and is due at Auckland to-morrow. WAIPAIII, FROM RAROTONGA. With a cargo of fruit from the Cook Islands, the steamer Waipahi is due at Auckland at 4 p.m. to-day, and will berth at the King's wharf. .She is to sail again at noon on Friday for Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Atiu, and Mauke, on her last voyage of the season. AUSTRALIAN CARGO. The Union Co. advises that they will have a steamer loading at South Australian ports and Melbourne early in October for Auckland, Portland, New Plymouth, Castlecliff, Wellintgon, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. NORTHERN COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS. Projected Departures. To-day.—Apanui, for Great Barrier, midnight. Expected Arrivals. An arrival at Auckland this morning was the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Victor, with, general cargo, from New York. She cleared New York on August 17, and Panama on August 25. Head winds during the last ten days of the voyage delayed her arrival by n day. Local cargo is being discharged at the Prince's wharf to the agency of Heather. Roberton, Ltd. The remainder is for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin., ■ > UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. . The Kaikorai is expected to clear Westport at 8 a.m. to-morrow for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Waipiata left Lyttelton at 5.30 p.m. yesterday and arrived at Wellington this morning. She is expected to clear there to-day for Auckland, where she is due on Friday. After discharge here, she is to go to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Wingatui loads at Dunedin on Friday for Auckland via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kaitangata sails at 8 p.m. to-morrow for Portland to complete discharge. From Portland she is to go to Westport and Greymouth. The Katna sailed this morning for Portland to load for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kartipi. en route from Greymouth. cleared New Plymouth at 1.15 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. After discharge here she is to return to Westport and Greymouth to load for Auckland.

HINEMOA SAILED. Following the refusal of unionists to sign on, the steamer Hlnemoa was manned by volunteer labour, and sailed early this morning for Westport and Bluff. TREGONELL TO SAIL. The steamer Tregonell, which called at Auckland to land the body of the second engineer, is to resume her voyage to Nauru Island this afternoon. HORORATA TO SAIL, The New Zealand Shipping Company announce the steamer Hororata to sail for New York, Boston, Halifax and London at daybreak next Friday. She is loading at the Queen's wharf. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night:—Tofua, Iris, King William, Foolta, Waiotapu, Kalmanawa, Papanui, Port Melbourne, Golden Cloud, Oakrank, Tregonell, Rona, Waikawa.
