For imposing upon the Auckland Hospital Board by obtaining stores and broad by false pretences, John James William Brooks was sentenced to 14 clays' imprisonment, at the Police Court this morning. Brooks was convicted on the charge yesterday and remanded until to-day, when a report was received from the probation officer.
