ART GALLERY DESIGNS.
LONDON ARCHITECTS PLACED • FIRST. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The winner of the competition for the design of the art gallery which is being presented to the city by Mr. R. E. McDougall is Mr. William Edward Armstrong, of Bedford Square, London. The second prize Las been awarded to Mr. Alexander S. Reid, of Golders Green, London, and the third prize to Messrs. Gummer and Ford, of Auckland.
