Sailors Lose Lives During Typhoon. MUCH DAMAGE IN JAPAN. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) TOKYO, September 11. A most severe typhoon was experienced in Japan yesterday. Seventy-five thousand houses were flooded through the overflowing of various rivers. At Tokyo sailors were blown overboard off a battleship ' and several of them were drowned. At Yokosuka great damage to property was done. A coastal steamer was wrecked off Yokohama. It is feared that all the members of the crew arc lost.
