AUCKLAND TITLE MATCH. C. SEDDON'S SUCCESS. HAMILTON,, this day. Competed for at Ruakura yesterday, the Auckland provincial clay bird championship was won by C. Seddon, of Hamilton, from 33 competitors. The winner shot the possible, and was presented with a gold medal and stake money totalling £31 13/. The second and third prize money, totalling £21 4/, was divided among J. McMiken (Hamilton), T. Glenn (Hamilton), and A. E. Macredie (Auckland), who each missed only one bird. Results : — Provincial Championship (21 birds). — C. Seddon (Hamilton), 21; J. McMiken (Hamilton), T. Glenn (Hamilton), A. E. Macredie (Auckland), all 20; D. Fraser (Auckland), W. J. Aitken (Morrlnsville), W. Pratt (Otorohanga), C. E. Hodges (Auckland), all 19; P. Jelavlch (Hamilton), E. Green Hamilton), 18. A nine-bird match (16 yards) decided this morning attracted a field of 30. 11. Clinch (Auckland), M. Pratt (Otorohanga), IS. O'Kane (Hamilton), and C. E. Hedge (Auckland) all shot the possible and divided the sweepstake. Gymcrack Shoot (seven birds). —J. Donnelly, W. R. Smith, A. E. Macredie, D. Fraser, T. Glenn, C. Seddon shot the possible and divided the prize. There were 21 entries. Gymcrack Shoot (nine birds).—W. J. Aitken, G. Peach, E. Green,, J. McMiken and A. E. Macredie shot the possible and divided the prize. There were 23 entries.
Skeet Shoot (nine birds), —W. J. Aitken, W. Pratt. A. Woolven and D. Fraser shot the possible and divided the prize. There were 18 entries.
