One of the youngest members of ..the Auckland Savings Bank staff, Mr. J. G. Beamish, was on Wednesday made a. presentation by the staff before he leaves for New York, where he will study radio. On behalf of the staff, Mr. D. Graham handed Mr. Beamish a travelling rug, and the latest radio publication, stating that Mr. Beamish carried with him the verybest wishes of all his friends in the Auckland Savings Bank, and they would watch his career with interest. In reply Mr. Beamish said that as he was only one of the junior members of the staff, the presentation, for which lie was very grateful, came as a pleasant surprise.
