CROQUET.

ST. HELIER'S CLUB. The thirteenth annual meeting of the St. Heller's Croquet Club was well attended. The report and balance sheet were considered very satisfactory. During the season Mrs. Keys, one of the club's members, won the silver button presented by the New Zealand Croquet Council to the Auckland Association, and a photo of the winner was presented to the club and hung in the pavilion. Mrs. Lowe, who has been an energetic secretary and unselfish worker, was made a life member of the club. It was decided to donate £3 3/ to the earthquake fund. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mrs. Garrard; vice-presidents, Mesdames Main and Porter; general committee, Mesdames Brewer. Hayes and Roberts; secretary and treasurer, Mrs. Lowe; match committee, Mesdames Garrad. Keys and Lowe; green superintendent, Mrs. Keys; delegates to association, president and secretary.
