.A further remand of a fortnight has been granted in the alleged "ringing-in" case concerning the - horse Imperial

Thorpe.. Samuel Bates, of Orari, described as a horse trainer, aged 36, and Leslie Holland, of East Road, lnvereargill, horse trainer, 2S, are charged that on Juno. 3, with hitent to defraud, they attempted to obtain from the Canterbury Trotting CJub £159 by falsely representing that the. trotting horse nominated as Imperial Thorpe was not identical with the trotting horse Bruce. .
