NOT A SHOP.
AUTOMATIC MACHINE
SELLING PHOTOGRAPHIC FILMS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
DUNEDIN, this day,
Claiming that an automatic machine for the sale of photographic films was a "shop" within the meaning of the law, an inspector ov factories recently appealed to the Supreme Court against a magisdecision that it was not a shop. The automatic machine was erected against a telegraph pole. Mr. Justice Smith, in his judgment, held that a shop must be a place capable of physical occupation by the occupier. He dismissed the appeal.
