FAST FERRY TRIP.

WELLINGTON", Wednesday.
The Maori made the trip from Lyttelton to-day in 9J ho'ure,- at an average speed of 19 knots. This is not a record, but is. an exceptionally fast trip. The .vessel reached the wharf just as the clock.was striking 12.
The record is 8 hours 45 minutes, established on December 3, 1924, by the Wahine, the average, speed being'" 21 knots. ' -<:
