CHRYSANTHEMUM CLUB.
There was a good .attendance at the second annual meeting of the Auckland Chrysanthemum Club, held recently in St. Mary's Hall, Parnell. Mr. jg. J. Wernham presided. • '• &~ The chairman ntated that' the, club had made exceptional progress since- its inception. Through the club exhibitors from as far away as Wellington have been induced to compete at shows. The membership was 101. as compared with 68 last year. The .following officers were elected for the coming year :—President, ". Sir Edwin Mitchelson: vice-presidents, Messrs. D. A. Hay, H. Goldie, G. J. Mackay, and F. Walker; executive committee, "Messrs. W. •T. Wernham, W. A. Dale, V. G. Edwards, P. Brewin, A. H. Finer, and A. K. Abbott; secretaTv and treasurer, Mr, A. E.. McMahon. '
