Indian Air Mail's Record Load. 30,000 LETTERS CARRIED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, May 27. The Indian air mail which arrived at Croydon yesterday afternoon consisted of the record number of 30,000 letters. It was only three minutes behind schedule time after its 5000 miles' flight. MEDICAL SERVICES. ARMY APPOINTMENT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, May 27. Major-General Fawcus, at present deputy-Director-General Army Medical Services at the War Office, has been selected for the appointment of DirectorGeneral Army Medical Service? in succession to Lieutcnant-General Sir Matthew Fell, who is retiring at his own wish in September nest.
