SEAT LOST OX ONE VOTE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. By the margin of one vote Mr. W. Jones has been replaced by Mr. F. Higginaon as a borough representative on the Wliangarei Hospital Board. Mr. Jones was only sis votes ahead on the preliminary count. Mr. A. T. Brainsby now occupies sixth position on the list of successful borough councillors, instead of third place as formerly announced. His total vote is 1312. Mr. E. G. W. Tabbits has third place.
