TAKAPUNA BOATING CLUB.

The Takapuna Boating Club gave their first dance of the season last night in the clubhouse at Bavswater. The supper room and dance hall were redecorated for the occasion under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Dryland on an elaborate scale, with orange blue and red aa the dominant colours. Smith, petunia crepe de chine and georgette; Mrs. Peters, blue georgette and gold lace; Mrs. Waddell, peacock blue georgette; Miss Bowen, peach lace and taffeta; Miss Pickworth, sequinned black frock; Mrs. Gvde, chocolate brown lace; Miss Hurfit, pink georgette.
