DUNEDIN CLUB.
The opening night of the Dunedin Club was held last evening in the Jewish Club rooms and was well attended by members and friends, who amused themselves with flag bridge in the lounge and dancing in the ballroom. The room was prettily decorated with multi-coloured streamers, and the Kit Kat orchestra provided the music, which was greatly appreciated. Mrs. K. Raymond acted as hostetss and was gowned in a handsome black sequined frock, worn with a Roman scarf. During an interval, the president, Mr. C'utten. welcomed the new members anil presented the prizes, which had been won by Miss Farquhar, Mr. Clark and Mr. Pool. Amongst the guests were: Mrs. Hammer, bois de rose satin and gold tissue; Mrs. Wright, vieux rose georgette; Mrs. Dickenson, black satin beaute and a black shawl; Mrs. Bowring, delphinium blue georgette; Mrs. W. H. Falkner, black georgette with rose and blue wrap; Mrs. Hooper, black and grey ring velvet; Mrs. J. Ray, nattier hlue beaded georgette; Mrs. Allum, autumn tinted embossed velvet; Mrs. E. C. .Johnson, deep red satin; Mrs. Cyril Hughes, black georgette with brocade; Mrs. Markwich, Venetian red ring velvet md gold tissue jacket; Mrs. C. Wilson, black georgette with silver; Mrs. Seaman, black georgette; Mrs. Monro Clark, wedgewood blue brocade; Mrs. MacAriney, beige georgette and pink shoulder ro-e; Mrs. Wright, cyclamen georgette: Mrs. Gaudin, shrimp pink embossed georgette; Miss Aitcheson, pastel pink satin; Miss Wright, deep cyclamen georgette; Miss Wohlman, ivory lace frock; Miss Galbraith, apple greeu georgette, embossed velvet coat; Miss Gibson, wedgewood blue georgette: Miss McDonnell, cerise ring velvet; Miss E. Donnell, apple greeu satin; Miss Sciderberg, rose brocade; Miss Davison, ciel blue floral taffeta: Miss Monro Clark, lettuce green taffeta; Miss Dickenson, powder blue taffeta; Miss Driscoll, blue taffeta; Miss Drescott, blue taffeta; Miss Eceles fle>h pink georgette: Mi-s Fisher, black Oriental leaded frock; Miss Finlav. champagne lace.
