The 11011. J. B. Donald. PostmasterGeneral, returned to Auckland by this morning's Limited express. Mr. J. B. Graham lias returned from the Wade, where he has been on a holiday to recuperate his health.
Mr. Leo Du Chateau was a passenger to Auckland by this morning's Limited express. He is at the Star Hotel.
The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, ami his private secretary, Mr. E. N. Poulton, arrived in Auckland by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. "I hey are at the Star Hotel.
Sir Eyre Hutson, Governor of Fiji, will lie a through passenger to Sydney bv the Aorangi, which is due in .Auckland next Sunday. . Sir Eyre, whose term of ollice has been completed, is returning to England.
Air. H. C. Thomas and Mr. D. W. Jar vie (Wellington), Air. A. Miller and Mr. W. Clark (Hamilton), Mr. E. Chadban ( Darga ville), Sir. Alex. McLean (Wbakatane), and Air. R. George (New Plymouth) are at the Central Hotel. Star Hotel guests include Mr. F. Frank and Mr. A. G. Gibson (Sydney), Air. J. Ogilvy (Alasterton), Air. W. A. Carrutli (Whangarei), Mr. S. W. Smith (Kawakawa), Air. C. Alackley and Sir. R. Girling Butcher (Wellington), and Air. P. Duncan (Christchurch).
Dr. T. W. Chikls, who has been medical superintendent at Tokanui Alental Hospital for eighteen months, has received notice of his transfer to a similar position at Seaclilf Hospital, near Dunedin. l)r. Chikls will leave on Saturday to take up his new appointment.
