Tti addition to the executives of the |.riinary and secondary school teacher-, the private secondary schools «ugani-a-tion has written to the Mini-ter asking for an opportunity to niaki; representations regarding tire reorganisation ol tlie educational system.
Mr. Atmore's position is that while he recognises that lie is committed to a revision of the present system of cducation. he does not admit that that revision necessarily consists of adopting the junior high school scheme. At the >ame time, while a ppreriat inn tlie. fact that the previous Administration suspended the scheme 011 the score of cost, alter five schools had l>een established, the Minister is not. satisfied that the cost would he as heavy as has l.een rcprej sented. ]fence his mind still appears to lie open on the point.
