OUTSIDE AGAIN.
KING ON UP GRADE. Summer-Like Conditions At 1 Bognor. ABLE TO SMOKE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, March 12. The King passed a good night and the summer-like weather is continuing. While he was being wheeled in a bath chair through the gardens overlooking the sea yesterday, His Majesty was able to smoke a* cigarette. The King was again out of doors to-day. He was wheeled in a bath chair into the grounds of Craigwell House and remained there for about an hour. Despite the bright sunshine, there was a cooi easterly breeze and His Majestv wns kept to the sheltered side of the house.
BENEFICIAL EFFECT.
Yesterday's Outing Raises King's Spirits. MAY CARRY OUT DUTIES. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 12. Official circles comment on the beneficial effect on the King's spirits of yesterday"s outing. It is now believed that if the present rate of progress continues, His Majesty will be lit to carry out the duties of signing the dissolution of Parliament and receiving the head of the new Government.
REGENCY QUESTION.
CONSTITUTIONAL POSITION. (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 12. There is no decision yet regarding the Regency. It is understood that the Lord Chancellor, Lord Hailsham, with other legal advisers of the Crown, arc considering the constitutional positiou. Conservatives have already arranged to spend £100,000 on election advertising and the Liberals £70,000.
