BUSH FIRES.
Vast Area Of Country Destroyed Near Adelaide. TOWNSHIPS IN DANGER. (Received 11.30 a.m.) ADELAIDE, this day. Extending over a frontage, of .35 miles a chain of bush fires in Adelarfe Hills destroyed 1000 acres of timber «"»?"£ ing property and endangered townships and homesteads. The damage runs into many thousands of pounds. . . The stock losses are comparatively email, but the fate of 500 sheep at Foreetville is not known. One fire fighter collapsed. He is «- a serious condition.
