HAUNTED HOUSE.
Detectives , Raid Reveals Presence Of Spirits. ELABORATE STILL. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. An old stone house at Glebe, said to be haunted, was raided by the police. A mysterious Jight burning upstairs was the mystery which gave the detectives A clue. On the third storey they found an elaborately fitted illicit still. They arrested a man, who is alleged to he the operator of the plant. The police believe that a large quantity of raw •pirit had been distilled.
