Objects: To carry on business of distillers, extractors, produce manufacturers, and supplies of all solid, liquid, powdered, and gaseous substances, including all synthetic products obtainable therefrom in any manner derived from the carbonisation or distillation of bitumen coal, shale, slack and general incidental.

AUSTRALIAN RUBBER MERGER. MORE CAPITAL SOUGHT. Following upon the union of interests of the Dunlop Rubber Company of Australasia, the Perdriau Rubber Company. Ltd., of Sydney, and the Barnet Glass Rubber Company, Ltd.. the directors of the Dunlop Company issued a circular to shareholders callinß an extraordinary general meeting of the company for February 19, when resolutions as follows were to be submitted:— "That the capital of the company be increased to £3.475.000 by the creation of 470.000 new ordinary shares of £1 each. Such shares will be under the control of the board, and may be allotted or otherwise dealt with as fully or partly paid up. as the directors may think tit." "That the maximum number of directors of the company is hereby increased from eighi. to ten. and the directors" remuneration be increased by £500 annually for each additional director, who mav be appointed."
