SHOP AND AGENCY AFFECTED

STOCK WITHOUT INSURANCE. (B.v Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) 'I E AROHA, this day. Fire broke out last evening on the premises in Kenrick Street, which were occupied by Messrs Leonard Hardmali, dyer ami cleaner, and Charles Parsons agent for the "Auckland Star." The brigade was quickly on the scene, but the. premises were well gutted before the flames were subdued.

There was no insurance on Mr, ITardman's stock and plant, but the building, which was owned by Messrs. W. E. Smith and Co.. was insured for £250 in (he Alliance Officc.
