SITUATION LESS ACUTE. TEE WEEKLY FIGURES. The unemployment situation in Auckland- is less acute to-dav than it was a week ago. Figures supplied by the Labour Department's bureau this morning. show that there are 975 men seeking work as compared with 103 4 last week. Of the former number, 822 men are capable of doing heavy work, and 153 are suitable for light labour. During the week the Department succeeded in placing SI men in situations.
