Mr. ,J. F. Mackley, locomoL'. j engince.for Niue Island railways, returned to Auckland from Wellington this morning. Mr. Charles Bohringer, the Sydney architect who designed the new Civic Theatre, left for Australia by the I'limaroa yesterday. Captain Foster Shaw, superintendent of the Union Company at Auckland, was a passenger from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Mr. D. Rodie, commercial managei N.Z.R., who has been in Auckland on official business for the last few days, will return to Wellington by the Limited express to-morrow evening. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, is in Auckland. He is accompanied by Mr. Harold de la Perrelle. They are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. W. Reynolds, of Whangarei, Sir. J. D. Webster, of Heme Bay, and Sir. F. Kearsley, of Mount Albert, who haw been attending a Masonic function at Palmerston North, returned to Auckland by the Limited express this morning. Mr. C. H. Young, manager of the Auckland warehouse of Macky, Logan, Caldwell, Ltd., has resigned to enter business on his own account in Palmerston North. Mr. John Macky has taken over the management of the Auckland warehouse.
