Mr. Foster Rrown presided at the organ. Tin- bride entered the church on the arm (l! M,. .1. lioddie, and looked charming in a ".own of cyclamen georgette with embroidered, veil, arranged with a cor,met nf orature blossoms. She rallied a shower 1. met of choice blooms, in which was some white heather sent by her mother from Scotland. She was attended by Mi-s Gladys Rertrand (-i.-ter of the' bridegroom i, who wore petunia crepe ,1c chin,. with diamante ornament- an.l coronet of tulle, with silver leaves. She carried a sh.uver bou.|tiet of asters and maidenhair to tone. Mr. K. IJ. Haylev fullilled he duf.es of bes, ,„.,„, A reception was held at the Ngatariliga Tennis Club's pavilion, where the bridegroom's parents entertained a large number of friends Mrs. Bertram! wore a frock of cinnamon inarocam with tulle scarf and crinoline hat Her bouquet was of oraiure lilies dahlias and asparagus fern, which toned beautifully with Iter frock
JOBSON—CLARKE. St. Matthew's Church was beautifully decorated in pink tiger and belladonna lilies, asters and feathery tamarisk futile wedding last evening' of Mono. Kathleen Marie, eldest daughter of ' Mrs Clarke and the late Rev. E. W. Clarke, of Hamilton, and Lawrence McGregor, second son of Mr. and Mrs. W. .Tobson of Hawera. Canon Crant Cowen" ofliciated, Mr. Phil pott, presiding at the organ. The bride was given awav bv her brother. Mr. K r ] o Clarke, and We a. gown of pink satin, fashioned in Early Victorian style. The bodice was tight fitting, and the skirt entirely covered with flowers of pink tulle, droopin" at each side to form an uneven hem to"the ankles. Her beautiful pink embroidered tulle veil was mounted on pink chiffon and caught at each side bv a spray of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of pink cactus dahlias and roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Viva Clarke (sister of the bride) and Miss Doris Grant Oowen. The-group produced very attractive effect, their frocks bein«' a shade deeper than the bride's gowr" the dainty little ilower girls bein«- in t paler tone. Their dresses were" alike in style, and of chiffon taffeta with a transparent net hem from the 'knees to the ankles, and narrow black velvet ribbons knotted on the fronts of the bodice. Tulle bandeaux matched their gowns and they carried long ebonv stafts, with pink roses, dahlias and rniVf " erS - S P a, - kI! »S rhinestone necklets were worn, the gift of the bridegroom Dainty Pat Webb's frock vas of ankle length frilled satin, with posies of rosebuds, the tulle transparent bonnet be.ng in Katt Greena vav >Ie and she carried a tight posy of pink and mauve flowers. The S mother received the large number o guests in a black georgette frock, inset with gold medallions and black hat with ospreys. 1 he bridegroom's mother wore black georgette and silver, with touches of pink chiffon. Mrs. Erie Clarke jade green satin, with skirt of silk ' lace appliqued in large silk flowers, draped *ide bow and ends, green tulle bandeau.

Glasson, jiink ninoii, overdress of ivory lace; Miss Phect, primrose satin charmcuse; Miss Sutton, pastel blue silk; Miss Lucy (Jlasson. pale lemon silk ninon; Miss l T ri|iihart, ceil blue, crepe, de soie. Paisley shawl: Mws (Jalbraith, black chiffon taffeta embroidered in flowers, gold transparent hem; Miss Nanev Cameron. primrose taffeta, shoulder wrap to tone; Miss M.
