HALPIN—EATON. A most picturesque wedding was solemnised in St. Mary's Church, Opotiki, cm Tuesday, when Monica, only daughter of ]\lr. and Mrs. If. Eaton, of Opotiki, was married to Lawrence George, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Halpin, of Grafton Koad. .Auckland. The bride, entering the church on the arm of her father, who ,uaye iier away, looked charming in a dainty frock of ivory "corvette, three circular accordion-pleated frills', caught at the waist-line with two huge ifianiante buckles, forming the *kirt. The bodice was finished with a graceful cape effect. She wore a. charming headdress of orange blossoms and silver rilibons. and the. usual white veil.
