Princess Elizabeth has elected to call herself "Lillybet." It rounds like a name out a fairy story. And, incidentally, it solves a problem for the family for the Duchess of York haa always been called Elizabeth in full, and not, as some people have said, '"Beity," and no one in the Strathmore family cares for that particular diminutive. And who would want to call our Princess, Eliza? anks an English paper. So it would seem that ''Lillybet" is likely to stick to her for ever!
