AUCKLAND GRAMMAR BOY.
GRADUATED AT SANDHURST.
LIECT. GEOFFREY WOOLLER.
It will be of interest to the many friends of Geoffrey Wooller, «■ - exAuckland Grammar School boy to learn that he passed his final examination at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, in August last, and was gazetted as a lieutenant in the New Zealand Military Forces. He is now stationed at JUdershot, where he will remain attached to the Buffs Regiment for one year before returning to New Zealand to take up a staff appointment. He is expected to return home about November next.
While at college Lieut. Wooller gained great distinction on the field of sport, and represented Sandhurst for two years in football and athletics, gaining his "blue" for the latter. He specialised in sprinting, and won many races, being also a member of the college relay team which won the British Army championship. In addition he performed ably in the riii£. and was only beaten on points for the college middle-weight division.
During his vacations Lieut. Wooller visited mauy parts of the British Isles, including a most enjoyable tour through Cornwall and Devon. Under a staff officer lie made tour- through the battlefields of Belgium. France and Germany. Mr. Wooller has had a wonderful time, bnt i* looking forward to returning to Xew Zealand.
