RUAWAI DAIRY COMPANY.
The output of butter from the Ruawai Co-operative Dairy Company for December, 1928, was 113 tons, compared with 77% tons for December, 1927. The output for the season to December 31. 1928, was 407 tons against 276 tons for December, 1927, an increase of 131 tons. The payout was: December, at 1/4 per lb, £13,932; December, 1927, at 1/4, £9559; increase £4373; season. 1928, £50,533; same period, 1927, £33.998; increase, £16,535. The average grade for the season was 93.98. Prospects for the remainder of the season are more than favourable, as the weather is excellent, and the supply is keeping up well.
