ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT.

.Tas. Bertie Stewart was charged with procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order, and was fined £2 and costs for the breach. H. H. Bresano was fined £1 and costs on a similar charge.

It cost Charles Pcwha £1 and costs for riding his motor cycle on the lootpath. Ernest Short (Mr. Cocker) pleaded not guilty to a charge of beinj: drunk while in charge of a motor car. Counsel pioduced a doctor's certificate stating that it was a border-line case, and that the accused would probably be able to drive without endangering the public. He was lined £10 and costs.

The traffic inspector presented a long list of charges for speeding, and the revenue was helped to the extent of •20/ to 30/ on each.
