RAIN IN WHANGAREI.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) W T HAXGAREI, this day.
Rain spoiled all out-of-door expeditions planned for to-dav, and all organised sports gatherings were abandoned. Christmas passed quietlv. There was a very large number cf people in the streets on Christmas Eve, including many visitors who had come by train and motor from north and The weather yesterday was fine but dull.
