Important developments are believed likely to arise from Judge Thomson's findings in the civic cial contracts inquiry, in which he made strong indictments against certain persons who had dealings with the City Council, in relation to the coal supply contracts. The Premier, the Attorney-General, the Crown Law Department and police representatives had a conference, but nothing has been divulged as to their intentions.
