LINDRUM IN LONDON.
GETS AHEAD OF INMAN.
LONDON, November 30. FrCd Lindrum, Australia, last evening overtook and passed Inman for the first time in their billiards match. He scored 697 to his opponent's 423 in the after* noon, when the play was more marked by consistency than brilliance.
.In the evening Lindrum added 715 against 387, thanks chiefly to a break of 312, one of the largest of the match.
Critics say that as Lindrum has shown such susceptibility to the cold in London, his chances against Smith .in the colder North of England are not too promising.
